Rudy Touzet
As founder and chief executive officer of Banyan Street Capital, Rudy Prio Touzet provides strategic guidance and leadership for all aspects of the firm’s investment objectives and operations. He brings more than 40 million square feet of office investing with a value exceeding $7 billion and 40 years of commercial operating experience to Banyan, which he founded in 2007.
Prior to founding Banyan Street Capital, Mr. Touzet co-founded America’s Capital Partners in 1997 and led the company for the next decade. During that time, the firm invested in and operated 13.8 million square feet of office properties, with a value of $1.9 billion, throughout the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic in joint ventures with domestic and international investors. In 2009, Mr. Touzet combined many of the ACP assets with Eola Capital, LLC and helped to lead Eola through its merger with Parkway Properties, Inc. in 2011. He also served as an independent director of Parkway from 2011 to 2012.
In 1997, Mr. Touzet also joined Associated Capital Properties and served as its executive vice president until its sale to Highwoods Properties after which he served as the head of Highwoods’ South Florida. From 1981 until 1997, Mr. Touzet held several positions at Cushman & Wakefield, including managing director, Florida area.
